Experience a new era of simplified robotic surgery with VPorts Robotics: our single-port, multi-tool agnostic extension system provides precise, parallel-placed surgical tools, positioning, and retraction capabilities in one, to dramatically enhance workflow, declutter the operative space, and make even the most complicated procedures simpler.

Our single-access extension system empowers surgeons to introduce and internally deploy a variety of uniquely designed surgical tools, graspers, and retraction capabilities in sequence and internally placed in parallel. This revolutionary platform provides additional ‘virtual arms’ to the surgeon’s toolkit, dramatically reducing resource needs, access ports, and the necessity for human intervention.
VPorts Robotics uniquely delivers a suite of surgical tools with grasping and retracting units through a single robotic arm, eliminating the need for repeated instrument exchanges or additional port creation. Surgeons gain dynamic, static, and continuous control over organs and tissue, all from a single access point and with the ability to exchange tools internally for uninterrupted workflow.

Discover how VPorts Robotics is transforming the surgical landscape:
Experience uninterrupted procedures through intra-abdominal tip replacement and seamless instrument changes.
Reduce the need for additional access ports, leading to less tissue trauma, faster recovery, and improved cosmetic outcomes.
Achieve unparalleled control with static, dynamic, and ongoing organ and tissue retraction and manipulation.
Achieve unparalleled control with static, dynamic, and ongoing organ and tissue retraction and manipulation.
Minimize reliance on manual holding, cumbersome static retractors, and additional surgical personnel.
Access the equivalent of five additional “virtual ports” for multi-point manipulation and exposure through a single, adaptable robotic extension.

I am truly excited about the involvement of Virtual Ports in robotic surgery and the introduction of the new robotic Graptors. Finally, robotic surgery will have specialized tools specifically designed for retraction and exposure, which are crucial for safe and successful procedures. Currently, retraction capabilities in minimally invasive surgery (MIS) are insufficient, and the situation is even more challenging in robotic surgery. It’s about time that when we utilize advanced machines like the da Vinci Xi, the Hugo RAS, and the Versius, we also have appropriate tools for effective retraction and exposure. The robotic Graptors are 5mm graspers that can disconnect from the robotic instruments and transform into retractors using an attached anchoring clip. This design eliminates the need for dedicated trocars and external anchoring devices that could interfere with the robotic arms, and they do not occupy valuable operating space. I look forward to using these Graptors!
